Please be aware that young Cephlaotus are extremely small plants without mature pitchers. Young Cephalotus are usually between one-half inch (small clump) and two inches (XXL clump) in total diameter. Potted plants are shipped in our preferred potting medium of 50% peat and 50% 12-grit silica sand, topped with 12-grit silica sand. The sand is very heavy and thus Cephalotus cost a little more to ship than our other potted plants.

Awesome little Ceph!My Cephalotus came within 3 days of ordering and is a bright green little clump of pitchers with what looks like 3 growth points. The young potted Cephalotus is about the same diameter as a quarter. I've purchased from other carnivorous plant stores and few companies care for their customers as well as Matt & Leah. Great productI bought one of these from the fly trap store a few years ago, it’s doing very well, and I have to give props for the dirt cheap price compared to other carnivorous nurseries where you easily pay double this price for a typical variety cephalotus.

Wonderful plants.All i have to say is fly trap store is amazing! Great products great staff. I ordered 2 cephalotus plants for myself and had my mom admire my plants and say how beautiful they are. So now i am ordering another on due to the fact she went home with one. Thank you so much.
