Korean Melody Shark is a very unusual and rare Venus Flytrap. The petioles (the long part of the leaf that supports the trap) of Korean Melody Shark lack flanges, and therefore resemble jungle vines, sometimes curling around in squiggly shapes. The traps are uniquely shaped like music notes, and are colored a pleasing light tangerine color. The cilia are even unique, with a jagged sawtooth-like pattern. Overall, about as unique of a flytrap as you can find, and really out-of-this-world looking.

Always greatOrdered young bare root. Got 1 young and 3 I guess starter plants, 4 in all. All healthy and beautiful even dormant , can't wait till spring. I lost the maroon monster I had bought from them when it went dormant. These little beauties made me very happy.

Beautiful Venus FlytrapOrdered a potted starter plant and received it within a few days, the shipping was very fast. The Korean Melody Shark is a very beautiful Venus Flytrap, and looks fantastic even though I bought it in the winter. There was more than one plant in the pot, all in excellent health. The packaging was great too, while at the same time easy to unpack. Very happy with this transaction. The handwritten note from Leah and Matt was a nice added touch.

Outstanding vft and servicei ordered a young plant(bareroot) kms. It arrived quick and healthy like all vft's from Matt and Steve. The photos don't do this cultivar justice. You have to have it as an owner for your collection. Beautiful coloration on the traps, upright spiny, twisty vines stand out as it was in a divine jungle. I also received some bonus KMS which I wasn't expecting with a different contrast in color from the one I ordered. Customer service and satisfaction at its finest. Matt and Steve are the best.

100% happyI was sent a wonderful blooming sized KMS ( it has a cut flower stalk ) ! The packing was so good that my plant was not fazed by the trip at all and arrived with open traps and ready to plant up.

Awesome!My KMS arrived, as hardy as ever! I immediately repotted and placed it out in FULL SUN. Although it is highly recommended to acclimate them for a week or two, the KMS I received seems to be unphased by the change. It shows the quality and care that Matt/Steve put into their plants, and I still have yet to see a better place to purchase my VFT's. Not to mention, this plant gobbled up a fly and re-opened in less than 4 days! A must buy!

Not Just Bizarre; more like GorgeousI had viewed no small number of photographs of this Gem of a Plant all across the web, but to receive a fantastic specimen was the only way to truly behold the KMS. The traps are like absolutely no other Cultivar out there, as they really do resemble the head of a Tiger Shark. At the same time, with very short cilia (teeth) the KMS has something of a soft, delicate appearance. Add the spindly petiole and there is not a plant like it in the known universe.
