Lately some strange fungus has been apearing on my cp pots. It has this almost liquid like look to it, it has a brownish or black color.... How do I treat it before it gets out of hand? It has already killed a couple plants.....

Can you put a picture up so we can diagnose it better?

That will make it much easier to see what your problem is and maybe someone else has had it before... Pics please

Hmmm, I can't seem to find anything about a black liquidy substance in The Savage Garden

. Maybe someone else will be more helpful than me

I had that on one of my neps.

It happened because I overwatered it.

I think it's a slime mold, which is NOT a fungus.

Try cutting down on the water that you give it.
