Hi there!!
I want to know if anyone here has U. Prehensilis.
I've been interested in this species since it I found Barry Rice's article on it on sarracenia.com
I saw that it popped up for sale at California carnivores, and I want to know if it is worth $10 and the space it would take up.
So, would you recommend it??
I am really intrigued by it, and I mainly want to know if it is worth giving up space for.

Thanks a ton!!

According to my growlist I do have some, grows really slowly in a peat sand mix. I have mine in lowland conditions with nearly 100% humidity, it has only a few leaves.

IMO the flowers are not that pretty even if they are prehensile (mine has not flowered), you should get a sandersonii, it is prolific and it flowers regularly. I don't think that prehensilis is worth it.

Will this make up your mind?

Heck of a lot nicer than this:

I haven't grown it (not a huge fan of yellow flowered utrics) but did notice that Tony P. had it for sale at half that price...
