It looks amazing! :)
Edit: does that window gets lots of sunlight, you know sarras do good outside as long as temps stay fairly high in the 40F.

One more thing to remember is that sarras are native to USA, maybe they just need protection against birds and squirrel.

Good luck!

Thanks to both of you :)

As for the window, it gets a good amount of light. But living in Montana, more to the point, the upper part of Montana, means the light comes in at a different angle than most of the country gets. I'm also surrounded by mountains

Putting them outside isn't really an option for about 9 months out of the year, as up here, it has snowed every month of the year, though summer is usually safe. Current temps are hovering around freezing before windchill, with daytime highs in the 5ºC/40ºF range. Even during summer the nighttime temps can be shockingly low.

Thanks for the suggestion though. I'm going to be buying a house in the next year or two (currently living in an apartment) with some land, so I'm looking at making a greenhouse so that I can really indulge my Carnivorous Plant addiction. 8-)

Nice! That's definitely the way to go.

We may end up back in Montana some day. My wife still longs to move back there, where she grew up in Missoula.

I had the pleasure of visiting Missoula the other month to see some medical specialists, and had a chance to explore a bit between my appointments. It's quite nice there. I still prefer Helena because of how small it is, but Montana is still Montana - wonderful. If you two do make it back, let me know. We could get together for coffee and I could buy a few bare root CP's from ya at the same time

Well, we'll definitely be up there in Missoula in May for Leah's graduation ceremony in mid May. I think the actual ceremony is on the 14th. I'll probably only be able to stay for a few days and then have to rush back to the plants.

I think I'd actually like living in San Diego quite a bit. The only drawback as far as I can see is the extreme amount of people there. Leah, my wife, actually lived there for 8 years and liked it a lot.
