Utter jealousy!
Cant seem to find it anywhere within europe... :p

I tried the cross myself, but seemed to have polinated the plant with its own pollen (waiting for the plant to mature)

Make sure you remove the stamens of the seed bearing plant.

Nice! I wasn't sure if the hybrids were capable of producing offshoots like that.

I saved some anthers from my Spat and will try to pollinate my cape with it. The sundews are flowering all at there own times, and I'm leaving town for a week so I hope they don't open their flowers while I'm gone! The spats should keep flowering for a while but I'm not sure when my cape will make another flower.

If your timing is off I may be able to help.

I wonder how it would come out if it was crossed with Baines kloof or Giant forms of capensis.

I didn't even know there was a giant form capensis lol. And ive only seen Blaine's kloof once so I'm not sure how the plant looks.. I think the leaves curl right? The guy who had it told me it was young so it looked like a regular cape.

I wonder if I can feed my capes some bone meal to boost flower production. I think it has potassium for flowering but I can't remember for sure. I think the organic ferts may not burn the leaves, I'll just put it on like fish pellets and see.

Here's the cape giant I will have to take a pic of my baine kloof it's quite large as well.
It's throwing a flower stalk if you want some seeds.

It's in a 4" pot but should probably be repotted into a 6"
Soon. From bottom of pot to top of plant is probably 9" or so.
Here's a not so good shot of my Baines kloof. I have two an they are both throwing flower stalks as well.

Yeah! I'll have Fraizer Island spat seeds and Intermedia seeds soon if you want to swap.

I have seeds from those coming out of my ears lol.
Let me see how this stalk does and we can go from there.

I'm quite forgetful so you will have to remind me about the seeds or I will forget
