:P He meant "let it go" as in let it continue to grow.

There was no mantis in there lol it does kinda look like it though. I was thinking it was some type of orchid as well, the pink stem is very pretty. When it gets a little bigger and more developed I'll take some updated photos and we can solve this mystery.
