It photosynthesizes in the stalk. Many orchids grow like this (at least ones native to the USA. Other plants do it too!

Here's the updated pics its hard to get clear pics. There's multiple flowers on the stalk like a sundew flower.

I love the contrast between the pink stem and the green flower! I can see yellow pollen inside the flower, and it's hard to tell with the picture but there's actually 2 flowers there

Exactly!! I can basically see the pollen in between the leaves! I wish I could get a good macro shot because this plant is so cool! Maybe ill contact the supplier to see if they have seen any other plants like this one! This mystery will be solved!
