The AW eddies are finally starting to find their way onto North American soil. I picked mine up today. The plants are small but very healthy looking. This one has six tiny pitchers on it and a wee bit of color as well. I had been asking Andreas for the last two years when he was going to be releasing this splendid species, and I'm very happy to now have it in my collection.

I'm going to give it some TLC and see if I can't get it to jump in size for me over the next little while. :)

Thanks guys.

Matt, yes that is an upper pitcher of edwardsiana. This Nepenthes species probably has the best developed set of peristome teeth in the genus.

Here are a couple of links showing the mature teeth surrounding it's peristome.

Obviously, my little plant has a fair ways to go before it even begins to approach the splendor of these majestic beauties.

Thanks Ronnie.

Well maybe if you can find a bit more room...their pitchers alone have been measured at around 21 inches tall.
