I have a planifolia that I got from Lee's Botanical. It never really did well and then I found it in this condition.

I took it inside under the lights. I covered it with a humidity dome and kind of forgot about it. That was a couple of weeks ago. I checked it tonight and there is new growth.

This is why I never throw away a plant until I have given it every chance of coming back.

I agree with @Apollyon.

I never throw away a plant unless I am 100 percent sure of it (e.g. dry soil for a week or rhizome is completely black/brown).
