Hi all. Hoping for some help. I have some type of green spiky tubular plant growing in the pots of many of my pitcher plants. They are actually crowding out the pitchers plants in some of the pots. Any idea what they are?

That could be carpet moss or just regular weeds. You can always remove these, but if you would like the specific ID for the plant, please post a pic.

Definitely not a moss. Most likely some type of sedge.

Blessed are the "cracked" ... for it is they who let in the light.

Thank you. Might have to ( try to)separate it out from the sars this fall when they go dormant. The weed is taking over in many of my containers!

Ok, the roots are so established, it’s not “ pulls me at this point

. I cut it down as far as I could in most of the pots, but I know it won’t go away without eradication! I was just wonder what the heck it was. Thanks all
