I rescue this one which I named Clara, which was in the poorest shape ever. Now that I repotted her, I'm going to be patient for pitcher growth. There's only a small one but sadly, it has a hole on the one side and it's pale and turning dark. The media she's in is orchard moss with a mix of fir bark, charcoal and course perlite. And to make sure there's some humidity, I'm misting the leaves twice a week. And the Nepenthes is at my north window.
Lastly, when will I expect to see improvement?

I don't think a north window will be enough light. They like bright light, just not direct sunlight all of the time. I can't comment on the potting mixture that you used, but all thinks being equal, if the plant is getting enough light, you should see a pitcher forming as that new leaf unfurls. Probably a few weeks.

Ok, so will an east window do? My bay window is facing east and gets good morning sunlight which can also be indirect sunlight too.

East will do fine for a ventrata. I put mine in full south sun in the winter it gets a orange hue from so much light and grows like 5feet per winter.

@optique, Ok thank you! I put my ventrata at the east window and hoping for the best. And I bet your ventrata has beautiful colors during the winter.
