I rescue this one which I named Clara, which was in the poorest shape ever. Now that I repotted her, I'm going to be patient for pitcher growth. There's only a small one but sadly, it has a hole on the one side and it's pale and turning dark. The media she's in is orchard moss with a mix of fir bark, charcoal and course perlite. And to make sure there's some humidity, I'm misting the leaves twice a week. And the Nepenthes is at my north window.
Lastly, when will I expect to see improvement?

I don't think a north window will be enough light. They like bright light, just not direct sunlight all of the time. I can't comment on the potting mixture that you used, but all thinks being equal, if the plant is getting enough light, you should see a pitcher forming as that new leaf unfurls. Probably a few weeks.

East will do fine for a ventrata. I put mine in full south sun in the winter it gets a orange hue from so much light and grows like 5feet per winter.
