erm, this weird thing happened and my plant is producing a flower stalk that is split in the middle, it looks like two flower stalks merged. maybe Fasciation? here's a picture if you can see it. it also seems to me that there are just a bunch of flower bulbs bunched up at the tip, will they spread out? my other sundew is also sending up a flower stalk but that one only has one head. any ideas?

That happens to Drosera flowers sometime soon but I haven’t seen it like that before. In my very very limited experience it usually happens higher up among the flowers. Has it done that before when you’ve had it under your care?

idk, it's a thing when flowers produce a strip flower instead of a round flower, search it up on wiki if you want to learn more. another weird thing. the plant with two flower heads has stopped making new leaves, while the one with only 1 head is still throwing out leaves. any thoughts?

You're into chem, right?

Etbr may be handy. Soak some seeds in EtBr for about 1 minute, and rinse and plant. This will cause intercalation of DNA, and often, wrong nucleotide base pairing (dreaded purine-purine ). This should lead to some interesting characteristics.

hmmmmm... that could work, i also took a small bio course, might try to find out the dna or something, i'll try that, thanks!
also, what does etbr mean? is it Ethidium bromide or bromoethane, they both use the same abriviations. both are quite expensive, don't think i'll do it
