I'm not sure what species it is but i'm 100% sure it is a bladderwort. I know this as a piece of a bladderwort washed up on the beach were I went. I found them at a nature reserve/beach in small ponds, i'm not sure what the name of the reserve is though. This is also the first carnivorous plant I have seen in the wild! Just found out it's called baldwin beach. It's a popular nature reserve so posting this won't create a threat of poaching.

That's awesome. I go to Tahoe every winter to ski. Will keep an eye out for them if I go during the summer months!

It's funny that I found these completely by accident, and was planning on going to see some darlingtonia on the trip back to my house. After finding the bladderworts I decided I wouldn't go because I already found some CP's.
