I have so many friggin gnats on my pitcher plants. I need to research how they eat. I wonder how big they get. Do they grow just a single stalk?

All those tiny little green "Leaves" on the pot surface are individual plants, one of them just decided to send up a flower stalk. Their traps are kind of like a suction thing, if a larvae triggers one of the traps hairs, the trap opens and sucks in the bug. You might want to search a bit for a better explanation though.

That's a lot of little bits..... I'm going to repot the sarr. He should be able to handle it. I suppose I could leave them there. They shouldn't hurt my sarr right?

Ok. They really are some beautiful flowers. Do they get bigger than that? I'm going to have to see how they seed.

For that species, no. For that matter, the leaves won't get bigger either. ;)
