Is it ill-advised to add a new ping to the same pot of my other 2 pings just before winter? Thanks to grey's diaries on his website, I now want a P. cyclosecta.

I am just worried that disrupting the soil they are in might be bad right before they start producing succulent leaves. I already plan on splitting some new growth on my P. weser in March. But I just don't know if I can wait that long to get the cyclosecta!

(I'd just like to add a little note to tell you I'm a girl ;))

I don't see any problems if you wish to add another ping to your current pot; root disturbance may cause minor amounts of shock but I've had to move pings in the past at this time of year without issue (as long as you're careful with roots you shouldbe fine). If you are really worried, perhaps setting up a second container for your cyclosecta and potting them all together in the spring would be a better alternative.

Good luck!
