Marimo moss is a very special moss, I like it, especially how it forms balls over time in its native environment... also love how various copepods hide in it during transport then "come out to play" once they deem it safe. I like aquatic moss in general, really, I feel like I'm developing a whole new appreciation for it. Do you know what the other moss is?

WOW! That aquatic moss is cool. I too have a new appreciation for moss. And I have at least three types. I'm trying to get some colonies going so I made a little tray. I haven't populated the soil side yet. It gets a tiny little moss that rode in on a few of my plants. It seems to like soil so... anyway, here it is. Oh and the rocks are (hopefully) a divider. And cus I didn't like the look of the empty squares.

Cheers,
-@.
