My new Heliamphora minor X heterodoxa

by Matt » Thu Dec 24, 2009 3:52 am

I'm so excited! I just got a healthy gorgeous Heliamphora minor X heterodoxa for Christmas. I snapped about 50 photos of it. I thought I'd share some with you all here on the forum. Man, I'm pumped about this plant!

That plant is sweet!

You have some really good depth of field with your camera, what are you using?

Some of the photos are with my Canon EOS Rebel Xsi with a 100mm Macro lens and others are with my old faithful Canon Powershot SD500 Digital ELPH.

Very nice, I love macro lenses. I used to shoot a lot of 35mm film with a Nikon F3 body and an F2.3 macro. I love that lens...too bad it belongs to my father :D

Good luck keeping it small  . Right now I have 18 different kind of Heliamphora's and counting. I wish I can use my magic powers and make them grow faster.
