I got my first nepenthes today! Its a Ventrata. Though I'm curious about what's going on with this plant. Most of its pitchers are dying even the young one thats growing (check images). Some of the tendrils look dry. How and when do I cut off pitchers? Any extra tips of ventrata care?

I looks fine to me, probably just acclimating to it's new home. You can cut off the dried up pitchers if you want but it doesn't hurt the plant to leave them on.

Yeah, changing environment, especially if it was shipped, it always going to have some effect. One thing to note, unlike humans, plants typically take some time to exhibit problems and also to heal from them. Patience is key.
