I received these plants as drosera capensis Bains Rocket. I haven't found that this is an actual cultivar. However, it is a very upright grower and extremely long petioles with short traps on the ends. It's definitely unusual and different from any of my other capensis :D

This is a post from the guy who "discovered" it. Unsure how it came to be, but seems to be sterile. This hints at a possible hybrid or cross between different ploids of Capes. Maybe it was simply mutated, but it grew from seed collected from the Bainskloof region.
Posts in other locations tell of even earlier references, back to 2008, but I can't find those.

Update. I'm not sure those capensis doctor konig seeds will reproduce an upright capensis like these. But who knows. I'm going to take more leaf cuts to definitely keep this one going. It's not the biggest plant but does deserve upright " rocket " name. :D
