So I prepped and shipped my big Ventricosa to California today, and I found this little guy in the midst of the hungry pitchers.
Fear not, Kermit was gently apprehended and let go in my wife's butterfly garden in the hopes that he will eat some of the aphids on the milkweed plants.

That's funny. When I brought my nepenthes is this spring when we had a temperature drop, I was sitting at the dining room table a couple of days later and heard a chirp coming from the pots. Apparently a toad hitched a ride in with the pots.

Another brave Kermit. Good thing many of my Sarr pitchers are small or have gone to producing phyllodia. He's safe for now.

Not necessarily a brave one, but it proves that my banana tree brings all the frogs to the yard! (Admit it, you sung that)

Ever since I introduced trays out back with CPs, I've gotten tons of frogs lol. They lay their eggs in the trays and I'll see tadpoles swimming around in them. At night they come out full swing. I'll see them when I'm fertilizing my stuff. Hanging from trees and stuff, it's very cool.
