I have had my nepenthes ventrata for a few months now, and it seems to be somewhat healthy. However, I would like to do a plant check with some more experienced growers due to recent developments. Since I have gotten the plants, only one new pitcher has opened up while most of the previous pitchers have died. The leaves were fine, just I was irresponsible with the feeding. In the pot, there appears to be two plants, which have both produced 5 large leaves and started becoming vine like.
Recently I have noticed three things; a basil shoot, dying pitchers, and what I think are fungus gnats. The developing pitchers are not dying on the vines, they just won't inflate at all. Here are some pictures.
I fed them recently and they have been getting plenty of water. About a week ago I put them under artificial lighting
lights: 2x 18W 1325 lumen LED lights. daylight, 5000k. spotlight type.
Should I be worried? I think they will do well on the shelves I'll post about later today, along with the rest of my plants.
