I bought this plant last year from CarnivorousPlantNursery. It was labeled N. Alata, at the time they didn't even offer N. Ventrata, but do now. After seeing many posts here on the difference, it got me wandering. The color looks different than Ventrata, as its all red, with no green at the lower half, and the bright yellow peristome.
What do you think?

It looks like a ventrata to me, it's got a fatter looking lip and a tubby bottom, where as Alata has a super thin lip and pitcher.

Also ventrata does have ventricosa in it which is very red, so it's definately possible it could have red pitchers.

EDIT: Also I just noticed it has a smooth permistome, which ventricosa does not, it has some folds on the edges. So it could be an alata.
