I am trying this with RO water and I have algae along the bottom, has anyone tried it without a sealed bottle of distilled? It's been about 2 weeks.

This is such a great guide! I have been trying to propagate based on this with three different varieties/containers and I have growth in all three! D. marston dragon, D. binata, and D. capensis (I believe, I don't have a label for that one). I am nervous about putting them in dirt for the first time, they look so healthy in the water that I keep putting off transplanting them. But I am beyond thrilled. Thank you so much for the step by step instructions!!!

Resurrecting an old post, but I wanted to share my results with following Matt's guide.
I took 3 leaf pullings while I was re-potting.
the 3rd not shown here only grew mold.
2 outta 3 ain't bad
