hi, shoild i like grow venus flytraps from seed?? or get a plant first???(im thinking seeeds cause the shipping for a potted plant is so expensive for me...

It is better to get a potted plant because for the first 3 years from seed, the plant will be VERY small.
Also, seeds that you get at most places are old and not viable.
One of the few places you can get viable seeds is here...
But, I don't think they are in stock right now.

For a beginner, an adult plant is definitely the best thing to purchase. Seeds can take weeks to germinate and take years to reach any decent size - some also require specialist care. Seedlings are very delicate and fragile in their early age and so an adult plant can take more "beginners mistakes" without perishing.

I recommend you get a potted plant because they are easier to care for and will do something when you get it. Seeds take about 3-5 years to become adult sized plants, and you may find them more boring than an actual plant. Also, a plant can take more mistakes and are far less fragile.
