Many people know them as Monkey Cups but you know them as Nepenthes. This month's contest is all about the Asian Pitcher Plant. You can spotlight a single pitcher, a specimen plant, or even your whole collection. If it has to do with Nepenthes, we want to see it.

For this month's prize, @Matt and Leah from The Flytrap Store are providing us with a Vitilgo flytrap.

This isn't a cultivar that I hear much about. From The Flytrap Store website:
"Vitiligo" was developed back in 2005 by Trev Cox from a batch of ‘Dentate’ seed crosses. It was selected for its unusual interior trap coloration, which it displays in a pattern of unique patches. ‘Vitiligo’ also has short teeth (cilia) which have an appearance somewhere between a ‘Dentate’ and ‘Sawtooth’ Venus Flytrap. Unlike Scarlatine, which would be considered a variegated flytrap that consistently shows splotchy patterning on the interior and exterior of the traps, Vitiligo is a more "typical" flytrap with the exception of the odd pattern of color patches that sometimes occur on the interior of the traps.
Our standard rules apply:
  1. You can submit 1 photograph for this contest.
  2. It must be your own picture.
  3. Pictures shared in previous contests are not eligible.
  4. Minimally edited photos only. No effects, or filters. Cropping is okay.
  5. The winner will be the entry with the highest number of thumbs up (likes) votes.
  6. Only votes from members with at least 5 posts will count.
  7. Members who have won within the past three months are not eligible for prizes but you can still enter.
  8. This contest is open internationally.
So show us your vining vigilantes of violence and may the best photo win!

Out of the three nep species or hybrids that I have, this 'Gaya' is probably the healthiest and best looking one out of all of them.

I'm afraid it must have gone through a drought. Might have forgotten to water it once or twice...
Oof. The fate of many a plant hidden behind others.
