What species are you looking to find? People typically don't share CP locations publicly in order to avoid poaching problems. But there are some developed locations that are better protected where carnivorous plants can be seen in the wild. In particular, in northern California and throughout Oregon, there are tons of Darlingtonia sites.

There are quite a few wild Darlingtonia sites around the Mount Shasta area as well. Not sure about any farther south, but there are likely some all the way down into the Humboldt area or perhaps even closer to the SF Bay area.
