My flowers have shriveled, are brown, and the bud part connected to the stem is black. How much longer should I wait to harvest and how do i harvest? (Pics to come!!!)

stay calm!! this happened with my sundews before. if the stem starts to become covered in black, its barley alive. so, if the whole stem is turning black, then just cut it, let it die, and harvest the seeds. :D ( even though it will fall over because of the black parts )

If the flower base is black, you may want to wait till the stem starts to blacken as well before picking. Some cps have the seeds swell and start to burst forth from the case, like venus flytraps. You can collect them then if they start to appear that way.

The flower base is black and some of the stem. The main stem is yellow.
