Is this normal for flytraps. It seems lots of the traps on my typicals form sideways and behind/under the leaves.

Thanks. I didn't know if it was normal because I couldn't find any pictures with those kinds of traps.

I was thinking what if it is the bigger traps that form like that, because I have smaller Vfts that form normaly but the bigger ones form like the picture.

The traps close up when there trigger hairs are triggerd, and they open once there done digesting the insect or if there is nothing for it to digest.
