What are these little black things in my nepenthes soil? They look little seeds.

How big are they? They don’t look like any seeds I’ve seen. They could be insect pupae. (Of course I may be wrong)

I'd think bug eggs. Do you have plants around there that may have contributed seeds?

I have a cactus near it but I'm pretty sure that when I got my nepenthes it had these things in them.

Could even be a type of mite. Be interested to hear what you find out.

Grab one with some tweezes and cut it in half to see what it is made of.

. It looked like this since I got it from california carnivores. The plant seems fine though so I will leave it be for now
