Never happy with flowers being called "blue" when they aren't .... but lovely pattern n the petals.

As annoying as I find it to be, it is actually pretty common in the flower world. Actual blue is extremely rare for flowers in any genus. I suspect that the "desperate" desire to have actual blue flowers is what leads to many such misnomers.
