My Vanda is in bloom again and it never ceases to amaze me! This year it is doing better than ever!

Never happy with flowers being called "blue" when they aren't .... but lovely pattern n the petals.

As annoying as I find it to be, it is actually pretty common in the flower world. Actual blue is extremely rare for flowers in any genus. I suspect that the "desperate" desire to have actual blue flowers is what leads to many such misnomers.
