Are there veitchii growers here? Have you seen something like that before?
This is my Nepenthes robcantleyi x veitchii BE-3933 which I acquired 3-4 months ago. I keep it in a terrarium with 70-90 percent humidity and temps ranging from 60°F to 80°F. It gets 12 hours of light a day. So far it produced 2 new pitchers and I'm a little worried by their look. It's like they opened too soon and then stopped at some point. The neck is stooped and the lower peristome is not even visible. What do you make of it? What I know for sure is that no one was touching the plant, there are no kids or animals in the house.
Here's an example of how they should look after opening.
