I found a photo of Nepenthes Veitchii "Cobra" online, and was shocked I had never heard of it before. It's possibly the most amazing Veitchii clone I've ever seen. Here's a pic from Carnivero: https://www.instagram.com/p/B8j81UJF9kW/.
According to them it is from Bareo, and has been available in asia for over 20 years, but only recently made it's way to the US. What confuses me is that when I Google for it, all I find is Carnivero's posts. That made me wonder whether it has a different name that it goes by? Perhaps a different name in Asia? Or maybe it has been shared in some social groups but just not on searchable web pages?
Either way I'm amazed I can't really find it on Instagram either, and that I hadn't heard of it before. It's just incredible. It would be cool if anyone else had any more information on it, including other possible names. That wide flared peristome is crazy.
