Lowes deathcube Sarr.
Looks to me to have Minor and Rubra, but I really don't care. I'm just curious is all.
It just produced seeds, and I'm going to sow most around my friends pond to see if they'll grow.

Nice plant! Looks like some sort of pure rubra to me. Surprised that was in a death cube haha.

Full disclosure, that's probably the best pitcher. Let me see if I can get a pic with more of the plant fir a better reference.

Yeah, I'm 90% sure that's some ssp. of S. rubra.

Cool. Thanks Nep260. I'll go with deathcube/Rubra cross for a likely parentage for what it's worth. These are seriously going to be sown for an experiment in Montgomery County Tennessee, to see if they'll grow by a private pond.

I think rubra would be a good choice for your experiment.

I always wanted to make some rubra crosses with a "leucophylla x minor" to see what i could get.

Do you need any intermedia to join your sarrs? I think I have 3 ounces of seed.

I haven't tested the water in the pond yet, but ground water around here is good for Sarrs, around 200ppm. I think that might be too much for a dew.
However, 3 ounces of seed will last you a lifetime. It wouldn't hurt to try some, shoot me your address and I'll send a SASE.
