I know I can never technically call it anything but typical. But it's def not typical. It's got huge traps and a very distinct pink color for it's long lashes (I am not sure the technical name for the trap fringe haha). ImageImageImage

I am not completely sure where I picked it up. Walmart is my best guess. I have some I bought from Lowes last year that have stayed maroon too. You can find some nice surprises

That's the thing about calling a flytrap "typical": there is no such creature, anymore than there is a "typical" human being. A typical actually means "any flytrap that doesn't have a cultivar name." I have some fantastic typicals, and I would never describe them as common, ordinary, or average.
