Just got done planting various sizes into a huge planters. 20+
1 squirrel came by and destroyed most of them.
I used to think they are cute little critters but now they are enemy number 1.

With that being said. I need to repurchase some plants. I’m mainly interested in rosetted style low growing VFT.
I’ll also post in classified

No no, you just leave them outside. They get the squirrels, stray cats, obnoxious night birds, and the occasional dominion.

Squirrels are the most destructive during spring. There isn't enough food so they search for it everywhere they can. Freshly potted plants is like a dinner Bell.

You'll need to build a cage out of chicken wire or hardware cloth to protect them.

Were the pots on the on the ground?

Squirrels are less likely to mess with pots that are up on tables.
