Or how I feed my cp's live natural food in bulk.

From cp owners point of view:
1. Place cp's in pots in tall sided clear plastic container that has tight fitting lid.
2. Take wingless fruit fly culture and hold inside box. Tilt upside down and remove lid.
3. Tap culture gently directly over plants. If you have a lot of plants in the box. move the culture around while tapping.
4. Tap box periodically to keep flies from climbing out.
5. Imprtant! Put id back on culture while still in box. Put box lid on while still tapping the box to keep flies from climbing out.
6. Wait a couple of days, periodically tapping the box to keep the free flies moving until captured.
7. After a couple of days, remove lid and return cp pots back to normal environment.
8. Rinse out box and let dry.

From wingless fruit flies point of view.

1. He's taking off the lid, get ready to make a break!
2. The door is open, hurry, hurry, get out'a my way.
3. Look at the green stuff below. We are free at last!
4. Jump and fly away!
5. Aieeee! My wings don't work. That's OK the fall won't hurt, its not too far and we are light.
6. Thud, splat, (sucking sound)
7. I'm stuck!, I'm stuck!, what is this stuff.
8. Oh well. a merry life but short. At least had a chance to try to fly.....

Pictures to follow (be sure t zoom in on this one):

Ha ha. Nice! I've recently started giving my plants the excess fruit flies from my dart frogs feeding. I try to dump an appropriate amount of flies into a large ziplock bag. Then dump them into a small feeder cup with vitamins for the frogs. Whatever is left in the bag, gets served up to the plants in the morning. I think it's a great way to feed both my flora and fauna .
