ok this might sound a bit stupid, but iv seen a few posts and on websites and in shops, a drosera spathulata.
now is this the same as a spatulata?
is it a spelling mistake?
is it a regional thing?

mmmmmm.......... spelling mistake, some people call this drosera Spathulata other people Spatulata, but in the scencial is the same thing :D

PD:this happend with all the plants called Spathulata like the Nep. Spatulata.

the correct is Spatulata (this is the official name of the ICPS)

drosera is the genus of the plants
sphatulata is the speices
so find the genus ok the plant and then verify the spieces
