I've received tall Sarracenia packaged in these boxes. They were potted. The soil was held in place by tape, a bag was wrapped around the pot, and the pot was taped to the walls of the box. The triangular cross-section makes them very sturdy, and the height means that pitchers don't have to be cut.

At this time, I'd leave a chunk of soil on flavas, they're gonna be pretty set back if you don't. That said, a triangle box is always best for cp's.
