Here are some pics of my Sarrs going dormant. Pitchers fall over more readily than in summer.
They often turn brown in the center of the pitcher around areas where many bugs have been digested. One of mine actually snapped right in the middle.
They still help me control the local yellow jacket population though, even while going dormant. That poor guy's been trying to get out of there all morning.
On the left are S. 'Judith Hindles', and on the right/back are S. x Catesbaeis. The little guy in the front right is an S. Purpurea ssp Venosa.
