ah that's good to know :D so basically, I can place my s. Minor, VFT's and Capensis in the same area? full direct sun(the Capensis worries me a bit, I don't know it it also needs 7+ hours direct sun)?

Yip. I keep my capensis in my window though. I have 3 adult and a load of seedlings all in my window. The wind outside tends to dry up the dew

Would morning sun be enough for my capensis? Also, the humidity is 20 percent RH here, can the capensis adapt to that?

I know mine did. Just make sure to use the tray method in low humidity areas (although it will not help as much if you have dry winds).

So unlike the Venus flytrap, the sundew should sit in a tray of water the whole day?

My flytraps also sit in water all day. But remember mine are out in full sun all day.

Ah I see. generally, I wait for the very top of my soil to dry out (a little crispy, but with moisture under it) is that a bad thing?

No I don't think so. If it's working stick to it. Just don't let it dry out to much
