This is one of my first VFTs & my first flower stalk. This is a Home Depot plant that I replanted a few weeks ago.
Does it look weird? Do the flower stalks normally split like that? Just wondering.
The flower stalk seems to grow about a 1/4" taller each day.

I really don't know. But if you don't want it to flower could snip of the stalk and place it in the soil
The stalk would eventually grow into an indentical plant.

The stalk does look a little strange. It could be the start of a false vivipary (where the flower stalk forms plantlets instead or in addition to flower buds).. though I know very little of the phenomenon so hopefully someone with more experience can hep you.

Well done, it's probably a false vivirapy. I wouldn't cut it off, keep it until the plantlets are as big as they will get and then just plant them as normal plants.
