no, the flowers vary in colour. Do a google search on sundews or even in wikipedia.org and you will get lots of info.

What do you mean? When you get the sundews you need to know how long it will be until they start growing?

If this is what you mean, then... they might go through an initial shock from the shipping and change in environment, which may slow/stop their growth. But as soon as they've adjusted (couple of weeks) they should grow like normal. What sundews did you order and what conditions are you keeping them in?

Well, if they are tropical types then it should only take a couple of weeks.

It really depends on how fresh the seeds were, in almost every case. It could be as short as a week, up to about 2 months. Patience is really key when it comes to carnivorous plants. 8-)
