This plant started growing in my terrarium several months ago.
I had planted a bunch of Flytrap seeds and this guy sprouted up
amongst the VFT's. Can anyone identify it ? If you know what
it is can you tell me how big it might get ? Any other info you
might have about it would be greatly appreciated ...

What exactly is a Sarracenia ? Is there a common name for this plant ?
( pitcher plant etc ). How large do they grow ?

Sarracenias are called North American pitcher plants. They grow in similar conditions to VFTs all across North America, and come tons of different sizes, colors, and varieties. Some of them get BIG, as in 2 feet tall (or taller) pitchers.

Here's a Sarr care sheet for you: http://www.flytrapcare.com/phpBB3/sarra ... t1244.html

It also looks like your plants are in terra-cotta unglazed clay pots which is not good...you need to remove them from those ASAP and get them into:

1)glazed ceramic pot

2)plastic pot

or

3)polyurethane foam pot

The pots yours are in can leach minerals into your media and kill your plants over time. Get some new pots!

would agree put your plants is plastic pots much safer :)
have a few pic's of some young sarrs S.rubra x 's and S.oreophila , but is hard to tell, what they are at this stage with out a label , so labelling is very important , when labelling write with a soft pencil or proper label marker or the sun fades it and you loose your ID of that plant, or stick the label low into the pot so the sun dont get at it , as its happened to me and have lost a lot of ID's of my sarras and very hard to ID them after !!
