I’d say the orchid fert has too much nitrate compared to ammonium which carnivorous plants prefer. This is for the reason that orchids prefer nitrates over ammonium, so for a dedicated carnivore fertilizer I’d use something else.

Supposedly it's risky to fertilize plants older than two or three years old. Supposedly because if there's dead parts of the rhizome then fertilizer will invite disease.
