Finally, after seeing dozens of closed flowers I find that I have a subulata variant that actually opens it's flowers. And I was thinking of dumping this pot as it wasn't very interesting, just the usual little green leaves...

The variant that puts up those little white balls seem to be opening their flowers as well. The stems are much shorter than the usual long "zig-zag" stems. These plants surprise me every day.
