Hi all. One of my nepenthes is looking sickly. Does anyone know what could be up? I did break off it's flower tip yesterday. Not sure if it could be that? Its with all my other neps outside and they all look happy and pitchering. Thanks.

I don't like the black on the one stem coming out of the ground. How long has it been potted like this, and how do you water it? Is it a pot that drains?

Its potted in 1 part peat and just less than 3 parts perlite. It's a pot that drains and I water it about once a week. My tap water has a TDS of 30 so I use that to water them.

Is that what your other plants are potted in? Are they in similar pots? It looks like it is suffering from dehydration to me, either from lack of water or lack of roots. How long has it been potted like that?

Yes. They are all in identical pots and soil. They are all pitchering and the leaves look nice and healthy. I looked at the soil of this one today and took it out of its pot and it was rather dry but I prefer to keep them more dry than wet in peat. Maybe I should water a bit more often seeings that the weather is getting warmer by me? At least for this plant? Or should I bring him inside for a while?

Received. Thanks!
