I mean i wouldn’t say so. I would cut off the dead foliage and remove that mold though. Bag it, maybe give it some new media. Certainly wouldn’t throw it out until all the leafs are dead.

No, I don't think it is. It's possible it's just going dormant. If it isn't and something is wrong, try repotting. That medium is very wet and organic. Try adding some more perlite and sand/vermiculite. Just in case nothing works, try taking some pullings as a backup plan.

I think the plant will be okay, if you clean it up and put it into a better ping potting mix. I've found the best results when the mix is airy and mostly or totally mineral.
