... carpenter bees? They are an extreme pest in my backyard so I put 3 neps there this afternoon. These plants are new to me and this is their first time spending the night outside in my care

Not that i have seen. Sarr's will but they can tear there way out.(they can cut a hole in hard wood, plants don't stand a chance)

In the fall they are weak and dying and my sarr's fill with them.

Worst they will do is put 1 hole i the side of sarr's for escape. They don't seem to notice Nepenthes at all. I would not consider them a issue for any plants.
