Hello, my purps have decided that either 1. They want to take over their entire container by creating an ever expanding blob of divisions or 2. They want to tell me that I’m doing something wrong. What should I do with this blob of plants? Should I just leave it be? If the divisions grow to big will it harm the others? Do the large amount of divisions indicate that I’m doing something wrong?

You can leave them alone (not that I'm against giveaways😉) but they are fine clumping that way. It is what they do. Just repot if it gets to large or divide it. I'm redoing my bogs this spring so my purp in it will get divided.

I bought 3 of his S. rosea's in early spring, and they put on a lot of growth over the summer. At least one of them promises to be a giant. I can't wait to see what it does next year.

That is the nature of purps, they continue to expand outwards, from side growth, eventually, the centre plant(s) rots and the satellite plants carry on the process.
You will be OK for the foreseeable future, but get them split before the rot, when you do split them, obviously do it in spring.
Cheers
